Jessica Martel organized a portrait session centered on floral makeup. She invited me to collaborate alongside my friend Wen Hernández to handle the visuals—me on video and her on still photography. The makeup was done by Fani Ríos and complemented by Jessica Martel’s floral arrangements. As this was a personal project, all the preparation was done by our team in the days leading up to the shoot. Pamela Muñoz was responsible for assembling the candelabras and decorating the candles for the session.

Andrea Alco modeled for the first part of the shoot. We began with portrait photographs with Wen and later captured several video shots.

For the second part of the session, we worked with House of Flowers, a voguing collective made up of Enrique de la Vega, Georgette Echeveste, Fani Ríos, Dan Morales, and, of course, Jessica Martel.

Each member was styled with unique makeup and floral arrangements. It was a brief but lively and enjoyable session.
